5-6 mushrooms, white or baby bella, diced
1 tsp garlic
1 medium egg, or a large egg white, or an egg substitute.

Here is how you make Teriyaki Black Bean Veggieburger:

Mash the black beans with a potato masher. Add panko, teriyaki, cumin, and pepper. Mix well.In a saucepan, sautee the onions, mushrooms and garlic. Add to bean mixture when cool.Add egg. Allow to firm up in refrigerator before making patties. Thin patties the size of the bun is best, as they do not shrink like ground beef. You could make thick ones, but I feel 2 thin patties are better than one thick one, as they tend to be a little mushy in the center. To cook patties, spray a griddle with Pam or use a little olive oil. Cook both sides until they are browned.
