2 chicken bouillon cubes
1tbs black pepper adjust to your taste

Here is how you make Lima Beans that will make YOU slap Yo Mama:

wash your beans and put in the apropriate size pot with enough water to cover bring to a boil and salt, cover with lid and let soak up the water. drain and rinse beans, then put back in the pot and fill with water to about half full. turn your stove top temp up to about medium and let the beans come back to a soft boil while you peel and chop your carrots into the size of pieces that you want, put those in the pot. chop the onions and put those in the pot. chop your sausage into no bigger than 3/8 size diameter and put that in the pot. add seasonings and chicken bouillon, can add some celery too if you like. I add celery also. as the temp rises and you have a nice bubble going in the pot lower the temp. and stir. you want a low bubbling simmer and the temp not quit down on low but about 3 on an electric stove.
