Here is how you make beef mushroom stir fry:

heat 1/2 tbsp oil in cast iron pan on med-high, throw in trimmed and sliced mushrooms. saute until water is released and then evaporated, then add butter and saute until browned add a couple pinches of salt. remove to plate. add 1/2 T oil to pan, throw in 1/2 of halved, sliced zucchini, saute about 5 minutes, turning at least once, but not too much, until brown spots are everywhere. remove to plate, add some salt. repeat with second half of zukes. remove to plate.
