Beef chuck, arm pot roast, 2 lb
Mashed Potatoes, 4 cup
Green Beans (snap) Canned, 1 can
Yellow Sweet Corn, Canned, 1 can
Pie crust, standard-type, dry mix, prepared, baked, 4 crusts,
Cheddar Cheese, .5 cup, diced/shredded
Beef Gravy, 4 cup


How Do I Make Sarah's Beef Shepherd's Pie?

Here is how you make Sarah's Beef Shepherd's Pie:

Combine beef and beef gravy (or beef broth) in a pan and heat, shredding the beef as it warms. Add the green beans and corn, and season to taste (if desired) with salt and pepper. Prepare potatoes. Prepare pie crusts (I usually make my own with 2 cups of flour, 1 cup butter and 1/4 cup ice water) and line a 9x13" pan. Pour the meat and vegetables into the pie crust. Spread the mashed potatoes over the top, and sprinkle the cheese over the potatoes. Bake for 30-40 minutes at 400 degrees, until pie crust is done.
