The ingredients for Beer Beef Stew are:

2 tablespoons oil
1 pound Stew Beef Chunks
1 medium onion
3 cloves garlic
1 12-oz. can beer
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound baby carrots
3 medium potatoes, sliced into large chunks


How Do I Make Beer Beef Stew?

Here is how you make Beer Beef Stew:

Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown roast pieces on all sides, setting aside on a plate when brown. Meanwhile, add the carrots to bottom of large crock pot. Add onions to the same skillet used to brown roast. Saut? and stir for 4-5 until softened and browned, then add garlic for another minute. Remove onion/garlic mixture from skillet and place on top of carrots in crock pot. Place browned beef roast on top of onion and carrots. Put the skillet back on medium-high heat. Pour in beer and beef stock and bring to a boil for 10 minutes, scraping brown bits off the bottom of the pan. Add Worcestershire, ketchup, salt, pepper, and honey and stir to combine. Pour the beer-broth mixture over the top of beef and vegetables in crock pot. Cover and cook 3-4 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Add potatoes halfway through cooking time.Makes 8 Servings
