2 tsp butter
1 medium onion, thick sliced
10 mushrooms, cut in quarters
1 cubannalle pepper, sliced thin
1 tomato, peeled, diced
1 - 14.5oz can crushed tomato
Salt and Pepper to taste

Mashed Potato (Patates Puresi):
2 medium potatoes
1 small onion, diced
3 tsp butter
1 tsp dill weed, chopped
Salt and Pepper to taste

Cook the meat cubes in its own juices on low heat. Add the water and cook until the meat is tender. While still on low heat add the rest of the ingredients into a stew pot with the meat, cover, and cook until the all the vegetables are tender. In the meantime prepare the potatoes by peeling them, and covering with enough water to cook in a pot until softened. Drain and mash. Saut? the onion with the butter, and the rest of the potato ingredients. Stir well. When it reaches your desired tenderness then split, and serve while still warm with the stew mix on top.Serving Size: Makes 2 full dinner entrees.
