Here is how you make Kitchen Sink Beef Stew:

Braise 3 beef ribs from standing rib roast and 2 beef shanks in oil. Grind up coriander seed, bay leaf, dried onion, lemon, peppe and oregano in spice mill or with mortar and pestle. Add to beef. Add 1 c. water. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. Remove meat and cool. Pull meat from bones and set aside. (meat, after removing from bones, fat and gristle weighs 11 oz.) Chill broth 15 minutes in fridge or until fat can be easily skimmed off. Add blanched, skinned plum tomatoes, 1diced potatoes, diced onion, diced carrots to pan Simmer and additional hour.
