What Are The Ingredients For Ground Beef Gyros Recipe?The ingredients for Ground Beef Gyros are: 1 lb lean ground beef (I use ground turkey)1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano 1 garlic clove (crushed) 1 teaspoon salt (optional) 3/4 teaspoon pepper 1 small onion, chopped 4 pita breads 3 cups shredded lettuce 1 large tomato, chopped How Do I Make Ground Beef Gyros?Here is how you make Ground Beef Gyros: --Add the first 6 ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.--Form into 4 patties.--Grill, covered, (you can also use a toaster oven or broil these) over medium to high heat for 10 to 12 minutes or until meat is no longer pink, turning once.--Cut the patties into thin slices and stuff into the pita.--Add lettuce and tomato.**You can top this with cucumber yogurt sauce but I'm lactoce free so that's not in this recipe.
