Here is how you make Gramma's Cabbage Rolls:

Freeze cabbage over night and thaw (Do not thaw in microwave)mix onions, rice, ketchup, hamburger, and spices together. Peel thawed leaves off the cabbage and wrap meat mixture into a roll. Try to keep all rolls about the same size. Layer in roasting pan, cover with tomato soup and V8 jiuce. Bake at 350 for about 1.5 hours, checking to make sure it doesn't dry out, add water if gets to dry. Works wonderful in crock pot as well, on low for 8 hours.
