1 pound lean ground beef, browned and rinsed
1/2 chopped green bell pepper
1/2 chopped medium onion
1 can Bush's chili beans (16 oz)

1 Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp dried cilantro
2 cups water

How Do I Make Kathy's Chili?

Here is how you make Kathy's Chili:

Brown the ground beef and rinse the grease off. In a dutch oven, add bell pepper and onion to the beef and saute for 5 minutes or so. Add chili beans, tomatoes and chiles, spices, rice and water, mix well, and cover. Cook on medium low heat for 15 to 20 minutes, until rice is done. Adjust the spices to your preferences, I like mine mild but my spouse will heat his up with cayenne or hot sauce.
