3 lbs ground beef
1 onion finely chopped
2 tsp minced garlic

I can red kidney beans
1 can pork and beans with molasses
3 strips of celery sliced
1/2 red pepper chopped
1/2 green pepper chopped
1tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp franks red hot sauce
1/4 cup chilli powder
I large can Hunts original tomato sauce
1 tbsp oregano

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Here is how you make Heather's Chilli:

fry ground beef until brown with minced garlic and chopped onion. drain excess grease (rinse if desired).In a slow cooker add the ground beef mixture with all the rest of the ingredients (except cheese and parsley) and cook on LOW for 5 hours. (You can put on KEEP WARM for an additional couple of hours if needed).
