Here is how you make Autumn Chowder:

In a large saucepan, saute onion in olive oil, until crisp-tender, add carrots and continue sauteing a few minutes longer, until onions are tender and carrots are crisp-tender. Add potatoes, broth, and polish sausage. Simmer 20-30 minutes. Add milk and corn, continue simmering until heated through, and potatoes are tender. Stir frequently to avoid milk burning. Season to taste. Add a few tbsp of instant mashed potato flakes, if necessary, to thicken.
