What Are The Ingredients For Lasagna Cups Recipe?

Salt and Pepper
Olive Oil
Onion powder
Italian seasoning
Bay leaves
1 lb Ground Beef
1 Package of Wonton Wrappers
1 Can (34oz) crushed tomatoes
3/4 cup Ricotta (whole milk)
3/4 cup mozzerella (whole milk)
1/4 chopped onion
4 large garlic cloves
1 egg
5-6 Basil leaves


How Do I Make Lasagna Cups?

Here is how you make Lasagna Cups:

Saute onion in olive oil (twice around the pan)When onions get tender add ground beef and brown. Once browned take garlic and shred it over beef and stir.Add salt and pepper, and italian seasoning to your liking.Add can of crushed tomatoes. Bring to a slow boil then simmer adding in bay leaves (I used 2)Simmer for about 1 hour.10 minutes before the hour add fresh basil leaves to sauce cover and let finish simmering.While thats cooking, mix ricotta, mozzerella, 1 egg, about a couple basil leaves chopped (I used about 3 small ones) and some onion powder and mix together. Let sit so flavors can combine.When sauce is done preheat oven to 350 degrees Add wonton wrapper to cupcake pan and add 1 tbsp meat sauce along with 1 tsp cheese mixture, then add another wonton alternating position so it kind of looks like a flower.add another tbsp meat sauce, along with 1 tsp cheese mixture. Cover with another wonton. Add 1tbsp meat sauce along with a couple sprinkles of mozzerella (or parmesan but I used Mozzerella) Bake for 20 minutes. Cool for 10 and serve Serving Size: Makes 14 lasagna cups *I couldnt use my whole package of wontons as they were broken, I only used 42*Number of Servings: 14Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user VANESSAXLYNNE.
