This is an OLD recipe that my Mom made when we were kids. I guess it's close to shepherd's pie, but, I've only ever had this! Top off with ketchup if you want, we used to do that when I was a kid! What Are The Ingredients For Mr. MacGregor's Pie Recipe?The ingredients for Mr. MacGregor's Pie are: 1 lb Lean Ground Beef1/3 c Bread Crumbs or Cracker Crumbs 1/4 c Ketchup 1/4 c Chopped Onion 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 1/4 tsp Salt 1/8 tsp Pepper 1 Egg, Slightly Beaten 1 c Frozen Mixed Vegetables 1 Container of Mashed Potatoes (Bob Evans, cooked per package directions) OR 2 1/2 c Mashed Potatoes 1 c Weight Watchers Shredded Cheese How Do I Make Mr. MacGregor's Pie?Here is how you make Mr. MacGregor's Pie: Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, ketchup, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and egg; mix well. Add frozen veggies and mix lightly. Pat mixture into 9 or 10 inch pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until center is completely cooked; drain.Once drained, add mashed potatoes to the top of the cooked meat mixture.
