2 cans of Campbell's Mushroom Gravy
1 package Publix Greenwise Market Organic Portabella Mushroom (holds 3 mushroom caps) (optional)
8 servings of Publix Homestyle Instant Mashed Potatoes, prepared according to package directions
2/3 can Publix Greenwise Market Organic Whole Kernel Corn
2/3 can Publix Greenwise Market Organic Sweet Peas
pepper
dried onion flakes (optional)
basil (optional)
garlic powder (optional)


How Do I Make Veggie Mixed Shepherd's Pie?

Here is how you make Veggie Mixed Shepherd's Pie:

Spray a large non-stick skillet with your choice of nonstick spray. Crumble the ground beef into the pan and cook until browned. If desired, add black pepper and dried onion flakes during cooking for flavor.Begin preparing mashed potatoes according to package directions. Once prepared, cover and set aside.Optional: While beef cooks, wash the portabella caps. Cube into varying size pieces, no larger than 1/2"Add mushroom gravy and portabella to the skillet. Continue cooking until hot.Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Transfer beef & gravy mixture to an ungreased 9x9 dish. (13x9 is too large). Add corn and peas; stir well.Using a wooden spoon or a spatula, add mashed potato to the top of the mixture in an even layer, starting at the edges of the pan and working your way in. Smooth the top as much as possible - this will keep the mosture in and help the flavors combine.Generously sprinkle the mashed potatoes on top with garlic powder, and add basil as desired for taste and to look pretty.Place the dish into the oven and cook for 30-60 minutes or until the top of the potatoes are golden brown and crispy.Once completed, the dish can be divided into thirds in each direction.
