1 med-large onion, diced

Here is how you make Rice Dish:

start the rice according to it's directions in 1 pot. In seperate pot add Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the onion, chopped. Let cook until the onions have given off liquid and are translucent. Add Sausage, diced to pot and garlic. (Note: Sausage is best the same relative shape as the onion. Try cutting the sausage into discs and then cutting those into quarters.)Once the sausage/onion mix has cooked, add any seasonings you like. The last step is to add the finished rice to the pan and mix thouroughly. The flavor of the onions and sausage from the bottom of the pan will stick to the rice and give it a great flavor.
