1 small onion peeled and chopped
3 cloves garlic peeled and diced
1 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp ground sage
1/2 tsp paprika

Here is how you make Lentil and Brown Rice Burgers:

Rinse lentils and brown rice, place in pot together, add 4 cups cold water, bring to boil, then turn down to simmer for 45 minutes.
