Here is how you make Kraft's Prairie Land Pot Roast:

Season beef if desired. In a large dutch oven (or other oven safe pot), brown the meat on all sides in 1/4 c. of the dressing. Be sure heat isn't too high or the dressing will burn. Once meat is brown, add onions and cook till translucent. Add carrots, potatoes, remaining dressing and just enough water to come 3/4 of the way up the meat (around 1 1/2 to 2 cups) Cover with lid and cook in a 325 degree oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until veggies are nice and tender.
