Here is how you make Squash and Corn Chowder:

Saute the corn, onions and squash in the olive oil until tender . (about 5 minutes) Add the vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Remove half of the mixture and puree in a blender. Once smooth, add back to the pot. Add the half and half and bring up to a simmer (do not boil!). Add salt and pepper to taste. This is very comforting and delicious.
