This is a recipe that was my grandmother's. I recently saw it on a fellow YouTuber's video though it was missing the egg and had beef and pork which is the original version of this dish. I substitute beef and pork with 99% Lean Ground Turkey and I use V* Vegetable Juice instead of Tomato Juice though its basically the same other than for 7 added veggies that plain tomato juice does not have and I used Low Sodium as well as the added salt to the stuffing mix is Sea Salt. I was going to add in Spinach and Carrots into the stuffing but instead this time around I am going to use only the Large Outside leaves from 2 Cabbages and use the smaller leaves from the inside to chop or shred up and mix into the stuffing for the cabbages so that I use less ground turkey and still have enough filling to make at least 25-30 Cabbage rolls depending on cabbage - with Approximately 4-5 Tbsp of Filling in each..

2 head cabbage** Smaller leaves used to chop up to mix into stuffing mixture
1LB Each Lean Ground Turkey & Lean Ground Pork (If you don't use Pork, use 2LBS ground Turkey)
? A Large Green Pepper Diced Finely
3 Medium Onions Diced Finely
1 Cup Cooked Rice (use the cheap sticky rice, it holds the rolls together)
3 Cloves Garlic Pressed
1/2 tsp Salt
1.75 tsp Pepper
2 Egglands Best large Eggs*
1 Can Tomatoes
1 large Can of Tomato Juice



How Do I Make Polish Stuffed Cabbage Drea Style?

Here is how you make Polish Stuffed Cabbage Drea Style:

Protect bottom of oven with Aluminum Foil in case any boils up and out of the roaster or dish.Preheat oven to 350Core Cabbage and Place in Pot of Boiling Water. As leaves separate take them out and put them aside. DO NOT let it cook completely or you will have mush. Save unusable leaves as well as the inner leaves to small to stuff and chop up well and or use some leaves to line the bottom of the roasting pan or baking dish. You will add the chopped cabbage into the stuffing mixture later before stuffing the rolls .Brown Ground Turkey and drain off any fat (1% LOL). Chop onions and green pepper (Vegetables) and mix with Browned Turkey and Cook until Translucent. Mix in the Cooked Brown Rice, Garlic, Salt and Pepper, Season to taste, Add in shopped up cabbage then Allow Turkey Mixture to Cool a bit then Whisk 2 Eggs and add into Mixture. Roll mixture into cabbage leaves. Spray turkey roaster or Casserole Dish with Pam or line with aluminum foil and or use a Few Extra cabbage Leaves to protect the pan and the bottom layer of cabbage rolls from scorching or sticking. Put a layer of cabbage rolls in bottom. Add in and or if using Whole Canned tomatoes Squish them over top. Repeat. Fill with V8 Vegetable Juice almost to about the top. Put in oven for 1 hour and be sure you Protected the bottom of your oven with Aluminum Foil in case any boils up and out of the roaster or dish.
