2 eggs
1 med-large onion, chopped
1/4 c salt pork
1 sm can (8oz) of tomato sauce
1 pound of ground hamburg
1/2 pound of ground pork
salt and pepper to taste

Here is how you make Queenie's Stuffed Cabbage:

Cut core out of cabbage and par-boil to soften leaves. Separate leaves, trim the back vein off the cabbage leaf to make stuffing and rolling of cabbge leaf easier. Cook rice according to pkg, set aside. Cut salt pork into small cubes, fry until crisp. Do not drain. Add onions. Cook until tender. Add salt pork and onions to rice, along with eggs and salt & pepper if you are using them. Mix thoroughly then add meat and mix again. Stuff cabbage and place seam side down in alarge baking pan.
