Here is how you make Baked Salmon with Tomatoes and Capers for Two:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Rinse and pat dry salmon fillet with paper towels. Pour half of the olive oil into the bottom of a small baking dish, and place the salmon skin side down in the dish. Sprinkle top of fillet with lemon juice and brush with the remaining olive oil. Season with salt (if desired) and pepper, and top with sliced fresh garlic and grated ginger root.
