Here is how you make Green Beans and New Potatoes:

Wash and snap beans in bite size pieces. Place in a dutch oven cover with water and onion bring to a boil. Boil 12 minutes.Wash new potaoes and dice if needed. Add to boiling beans. Boil another 15-17 minutes. Now dice and cook bacon while soup boils. Drain bacon on paper towel.Drain reserving 1 1/2 cus of water. Pour water and milk back over beans, stir.
