3 cups of whole wheat egg noodles
1 can of reduced fat cream of mushroom soup
1 soup can of skim milk
1 small can of tuna in water, drained
5 whole wheat saltine crackers.


How Do I Make Momma's Tuna Noodle Casserole?

Here is how you make Momma's Tuna Noodle Casserole:

Pre-heat oven to 350. Bring pot of water to boil and add egg noodles; cook according to timing on package. While noodles are cooking, heat butter in a skillet; add celery and onion. Saute celery and onion being careful not to overcook. In a separate bowl, add soup and milk, mixing until smooth. Next, add drained and flaked tuna followed by cooked celery and onion. When noodles have cooked alotted amount of time, drain water off and pour noodles into soup mixture; stir until noodles are covered in mixture. Gently fold in peas and pour into greased 8x8 baking dish. Crush 5 whole wheat saltines and sprinkle over top of casserole. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
