What Are The Ingredients For Homemade Granola Recipe?The ingredients for Homemade Granola are: Granola Base3.5 cups rolled oats 1.5 cups rolled rye 3/4 cups raw pepitas 2 T. sesame seeds ¾ cup light brown sugar 1 T. ground cinnamon Wet ¾ cup apple sauce ¼ cup maple syrup ¼ cup corn syrup ¼ cup honey Additions: 3/4 cup roasted almonds, chopped 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds 1/3 cup chopped apricots 1/3 cup raisins 1/3 cup dried cherries How Do I Make Homemade Granola?Here is how you make Homemade Granola: 1 Preheat oven to 300°F. 2 In a large bowl, combine all of the granola base ingredients. In a small bowl, combine the wet ingredients. Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix well. 3 Spread the mixture over two baking trays and bake for 45 minutes until golden brown. During baking time, stir the granola every 10 or 15 minutes and rotate the pans. 4 Once ready, remove from the oven and continue to stir well. If you don’t, it will set into a huge slab! 5 Stir in the additions.Makes 10 cups. Store the granola in an airtight container.
