Prepare 2-quart baking dish with light coating of cooking spray. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.In large bowl, combine oats, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, mix together milk, egg, applesauce, butter, and brown sugar. Stir the liquid ingredients into the dry and pour into prepared dish.Bake 20 minutes.Stir the oatmeal, fold in chopped apple and bake 20 more minutes until top is lightly browned.
