3 Tbsp butter
1 lemon, zested and juiced
Dash of salt and pepper
12oz whole wheat pasta, any kind, dry
1 c. zucchini, large chop
1 c. broccoli, large chop or small florets
1/2 c. red bellpepper, chopped
1/2 c. onion, yellow, red or whilte, chopped
1 lb shrimp, raw, shelled
1 Old Bay seafood steamer bag with seasoning, or seasoning alone

Here is how you make Lemon Butter Pasta with Steamed Shrimp and Veggies:

Cook the pasta according to the directions on the box. While the pasta is cooking follow the directions on the steamer bag and cook shrimp in the microwave. (this is so easy, you won?t believe it). --If you do not have steamer bag, I peel shrimp and place in single layer in flat glass dish with 1-2 tsp water. Sprinkle with 1-2tsp Old Bay Seasoning. Cover dish with plastic wrap and poke 2 holes. Cook on high in microwave 2 mins and check for doneness. They will continue to steam once you remove from microwave.Cook broccoli (or zucchini or squash or whatever veggies you?d like to add to the pasta). I use same microwave steamer method with 1 tsp water and slight shake of salt and pepper. Microwave 3 minutes and check for doness. Cook in 30 second increments, if needed. Over medium heat on the stove melt the butter and add the lemon zest and juice, salt and pepper and stir frequently until the butter is melted and fully incorporated.Drain the pasta, toss with the sauce, top with shrimp and veggies.
