Here is how you make Cajun Shrimp Pasta with Browned Butter and Bay- crab cake topped:

boil shrimp in 3 tsp old bay and 2 bay leaves for 2.5 minutes and remove from water. Add pasta and cook as directed. While pasta is cooking remove shells from shrimp if needed and set aside. Remove pasta from water reserving 1/4 cup of pasta liquid. While pan is still hot add 2 tbs butter with two bay leaves and brown butter. Add back drained pasta and Parmesan and 2 tsp more old bay and toss over low heat adding more pasta water as needed for whatever consistency desired. Cream can also be added here instead of water.
