2 cups broccoli florets, fresh
1 large carrot
1 zucchini
8 ounces pasta, dry
3 TBSP butter, unsalted
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/3 C. sliced green onions
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. dried leaf thyme, crumbled
2 TBSP. flour
1 1/2 C. 2% Milk
1/2 C. Parmesan Cheese


How Do I Make Pasta and Vegtables?

Here is how you make Pasta and Vegtables:

Cut the carrot and zucchini in julienne strips.Cook broccoli, carrots and zucchini in water for 4 minutes. Drain. Cook pasta according to directions. In large skillet melt butter, saute mushrooms, green onions, garlic and thyme until vegtables are tender. Stir in flour, cook 1 minute. Gradually pour in milk and stir until sauce thickens. Combine vegtables, pasta and sauce. Mix well.
