6 cloves garlic minced
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2/3 cup fresh chopped chives
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup butter, unsalted
1 1/2 cup white wine
8 oz linguine noodles


How Do I Make Shrimp Pasta with Asparagus?

Here is how you make Shrimp Pasta with Asparagus:

Cook linguine according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup water.Steam asparagus in a small pan or sauce pan and cut into bite size pieces, about 1 to 2 inch pieces. Set aside and keep warm.Melt butter in a large skillet, nonstick, over medium to medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook 3-5 minutes until almost done. Add garlic to pan and cook another 30 seconds to 2 minutes until shrimp is done and garlic is roasted. Remove shrimp from heat and keep warm.In same pan, add wine to the pan and increase heat to high. Allow for wine to boil 2 to 4 minutes or until reduced just slightly to about 1 cup. Add cream to wine mixture and bring to a boil. Sprinkle mixture with chives, salt and pepper. Toss cream sauce, shrimp, asparagus and noodles together.
