The bacon is easily omitted for a vegetarian meal.***Marinate beans in wine, water, garlic, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce overnight. Next day, cook bacon until crisp. Drain bacon grease. Add the celery and the bean mixture to a crock pot w/ the bacon. Cook on high for 6 hours in the crock pot. If beans begin to appear dry, add more water.
