Shrimp, raw, 11 oz ( I used salad shrimp .68 pounds)
Canned Tomatoes, 411 grams (1 can)
Hot Pepper Sauce, 1 Tbsp
Oregano, ground, 1 tbsp
Pepper, black, .5 tsp
Rice, brown, raw, organic, 1 cup
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Kirkland, 2 Tbsp
Garlic, 6 cloves (split)


How Do I Make Shrimp, tomatoes and Rice?

Here is how you make Shrimp, tomatoes and Rice:

Put 1 cup brown rice on to cook, with 2 Tbsp of evoo (that is what mine calls for, add the oil or butter ofyour choice, but keep in mind it will change the nutritional values). chop 4 cloves of garlic coarsely and put in rice pot. When Rice is almost cooked (mine cooks for 50 minutews, to at 40 minutes) open the can of tomatoes and add oregano, pepper & pepper sauce. Using fine side of grater, grate 2 cloves of garlic into the tomatoe mixture. Heat well. Put tomatoe mixture over rice when rice is finished and wa-laa - you have 4 servings of a yummy, nutrient filled meal!Serves 4Note: Nutritional info is for long grain white rice, not brown.
