Here is how you make Stir Fry Asparagus:

Wash the asparagus and cut off the bottom 1 inch (opposite end from the spear/spikey part). Cut asparagus diagonally into 1/2" thick pieces. Add asparagus to boiling water, cook for 6 minutes. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce and garlic and set aside. Spray a wok, or heavy bottomed skillet generously with cooking spray. Heat the wok/skillet over medium high heat.
