Sprinkle both sides of the slices with salt and let sit for at least 20 minutes, before rinsing off all of the salt.Heat the oven to 300-350 F. Spray an oven safe dish with a little olive oil cooking spray. Layer the ingredients in the oven dish, starting with a layer of egg plant, and ending with a layer of tomato paste.
