Here is how you make Dahl (Red Lentils) with Kale:

Rinse the red lentils before cooking. Add lentils, broth and water to a sauce pan, bring to a boil, cover and let simmer on Low for 30-45 minutes, depending on your desired consistency, adding additional water as needed. For this recipe, longer is better. Clean and rinse the kale, cutting out the stems, and chop approx. 2 cups worth. Chop the garlic. When the lentils are done, put them aside. At that point, add the garlic and olive oil to a sautee pan on Medium, add the kale and sautee until wilted. Add the cooked lentils, and fold into the kale slightly. Remove from heat, add the juice of a lemon wedge for each serving, and salt and pepper to taste, to your liking. Makes 2 hearty servings...
