1/2 box whole grain lasagna noodles
15 ox container part skim ricotta cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese (I usually use the lighter version, but couldn't find any this time)

2 bell peppers
16 oz plus 8 oz shredded part skim mozzarella

Here is how you make Nicole's whole grain lasagna:

boil noodles according to package, drain and let cool.while cooling, brown bell peppers and garlic, then add and brown ground beef. season with italian seasoning while browning.in a bowl, mix cooked ground beef/bell pepper mixture with egg, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese and 16 oz of mozerella, and more italian seasoning.Mix 1 teaspoon of sugar in each can of sauce to get rid of the "tin can" taste and bitterness. Spread a thin layer of sauce in the bottom of a 13 x 9 glass baking pan. Add one layer of noodles. Top with 1/2 the cheese/beef mixture. Add another layer of noodles. Top with sauce. Add remaining cheese mixture and top with the last noodles and sauce.Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes until heated through and melted. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella cheese and return to oven just until cheese is melted.Let cool, then slice 3 rows the "short" way and 4 rows the "long" way to make 12 pieces.
