Here is how you make Aunt Jayme's Tomato Basil Pasta:

Cook the bacon until crisp- remove form pan and drain fat. Saute onions in either a little left over bacon fat or in olive oil while cooking your pasta. Add 16 oz of canned petite diced tomato and heat until warm. When pasta is done, combine pasta, crumbled bacon, your sauted onion/tomato mix and about 8 T of fresh chopped basil. The fresh basil makes a HUGE difference.
