The ingredients for Ceasar Salad are:

1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp olive oil
juice of 2 lemons
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp worstershire sauce
1 tsp dijon mustard
1 tsp anchovy paste (optional)
6 slices bacon, cooked and cut into pieces
4 slices fresh whole wheat bread loaf or whole wheat baguette, cubed
salt, pepper and garlic salt
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 heads romaine, or 3 romaine hearts


How Do I Make Ceasar Salad?

Here is how you make Ceasar Salad:

in a blender or food processor, place egg yolks and lemon juice, salt and pepper, garlic, worstershire sauce, dijon mustard and anchovy paste and blend on low. Slowly add in 1/4 cup olive oil while the blender is still running. Blend until you get a slightly thick emulsification, about 1 min. Turn off blender, and add 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.Stir, taste. If it is too lemony, add a little more worstershire. If it is not enough lemon, add more juice.Let dressing sit in refrigerator for 1 hr minimum. Meanwhile, on a baking sheet, spread bread cubes. drizzle 2 tbsp olive oil over the bread. Add any seasoning you like. (I use garlic powder, rosemary, italian seasoning, salt and pepper). Bake at 350 for 10 mins, or until golden. Chop lettuce and place in a bowl. Top with croutons and bacon. Pour dressing over top and toss.
