Here is how you make Pita Bread:

Dissolve yeast in the lukewarm water. Stir in flour and salt. Stir into a rough sticky ball. Knead on floured surface until smooth, adding more flour in necessary.Divide into six balls and knead until smooth and round. With a rolling pin, flatten each until about 1/4-inch thick and about four or five inches in diameter.Cover with a towel and let rise for 45-minutes. Arrange the rounds upside down on a baking sheet(s). Bake in a very hot oven (500 degrees) for 10-15 minutes or until browned and puffed in the center.The breads will be hard when they are removed from the oven, but will soften and flatten as they cool.
