1 can organic garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
5 Tbs non-fat vegan mayo (I like Nayonnaise)
.5 cup sweet pickles, diced
kelp powder (to taste, optional)
fresh ground pepper to taste
sea salt to taste


How Do I Make Vegan?

Here is how you make Vegan:

Mash the garbanzo beans so that they are well broken up. Don't mash them to death, though, you want some texture - not hummus. ;) Add vegan mayo (more or less as you prefer) and the diced pickles. I also add a splash of the pickle brine, as I've always really loved pickle-y tuna and like pickle-y untuna, too. Add a dash of kelp powder, salt, fresh ground pepper to taste. Chill until cold (I find it tastes better chilled and this gives the flavors time to mingle) and serve on your favorite bread. Delish!Makes about four good sized servings.
