I love this recipe! It is so easy and so easy to adapt to your taste buds. I use ground turkey, but you could do pork or beef or make it vegetarian. I simmer it on the stove but you could also throw all the ingredients in a slow cooker and leave it on low all day and it would be perfect when you came home!

1 lb. Ground turkey
1-48 oz low sodium chicken broth, I used Swanson
1-16 oz can diced tomatoes, no salt added
2 Poblano or Serrano peppers, roasted
*** Depending on how spicy you like it, you can do less or more of the peppers.


How Do I Make Green Chili?

Here is how you make Green Chili:

Cook the turkey until done in a stock pot. Add the chicken broth and the diced tomatoes (with the juice) and simmer for 1 hour. Roast the peppers, peel and remove the seeds. Dice the peppers, add into the pot 30 minutes before serving and let simmer until dinner.10 minutes before serving, mix the cornstarch with a little water in a separate bowl until well blended and add into the chili to thicken.
