Here is how you make Mexican Birria (4 oz):

Prepare the beef by cutting it into large chunks about 2" x 3". Set aside in a large bowl.*You may want to wear gloves to handle the chilis. Prepare dried chilis by removing the stem, cutting open lengthwise and removing all the seeds.*Place chilis and remaining ingredients in a blender and blend for a few seconds stopping often to push the chilis down until they're all incorporated. When they're all incorporated, blend on high for 2 minutes. This should be the consistancy of thick ketchup. Pour chili mixture over the chunks of meat and cover evenly.*Place the meat in a single layer in an 8" x 8" metal cake pan and tightly cover the pan with two layers of foil. Bake at 375* for _______ hours or until the meat is fall-apart tender. *When I prepare this for a party with my Mexican family and friends, I cook 8 - 12 oz. per person. This is a rare treat and will be devoured!*To eat, tear off a piece of flour tortilla and use it to pinch off some meat and sop up some juice.
