In a sauce pan melt margarine and chocolate. Add milk, sugar and salt. Bring to a slow rolling boil, stirring constantly till sugar is desolved. Boil for two minutes. Add vanilla. Pour mixture into a mixing bowl. By hand or with a mixer; beat until cool and thick. pour into a buttered 7" X 11" dish. Let cool and refrigerate.
