Combine lentils & eggs in food processor. Puree until the mixture is consistency of a runny yet textured hummus...its ok if lentils stay whole. Pour into bowl and stir in the onion. Add the bread crumgs, stir and let set for a few minutes so crumbs will absorb some moisture. You should have a very moist mixture that you can now form into twelve 1 1/2 inch thick patties. *if to moist at more bread crumbs*if to dry add more egg or waterHeat oil in heavy skillet over medium low heat and cook 7 to 10 minutes until the bottoms brown. Flip and cook second side for 7 minutes , or until golden bronw. Remove from heat and cool on wire rack.
