1 small red onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 t cumin
1 bell pepper (or about 4-5 mini sweet peppers), diced
1 tablespoon grill seasoning blend (recommended: McCormick Montreal Grill Seasoning reduced sodium)
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 cup diced tomatoes, blended (or 8 oz can tomato sauce)
1 cup kraft 2% shredded cheddar cheese

pepper to taste (incl 1 t red pepper flakes)

Here is how you make Turkey Sloppy Joes:

Heat pan over medium and add oil. Sautee onion for a few minutes, until lightly browned. Add bell pepper, garlic, pepper flakes (if using), cumin, and turkey. Brown turkey and break it up as it cooks. Once turkey browns, add worcestershire sauce and let reduce slightly. Add sugar and seasoning blend. Then add the tomatoes. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
