Splenda Sugar Blend for Baking 2 tsp. Salt 2 (.25 oz.) Pkg. Active Dry Yeast 1/2 C. Warm Water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C) 1/2 C. Egg Substitute 7 C. Whole Wheat Flour 2 Tbsp. Flax Seed Meal 2 Tbsp. Wheat Germ How Do I Make Yeast Loaves?Here is how you make Yeast Loaves: 1. Warm the milk in a small saucepan until it bubbles, then remove from heat. Mix in the margarine, applesauce, Splenda, & salt; stir until melted. Let cool until lukewarm.2. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let stand until creamy, about 10 min. In a large bowl, combine the yeast mixture with the cooled milk mixture, egg substitute, & 2 C. of flour; stir well to combine. Stir in the remaining flour, 1/2 C. at a time, beating well after each addition. When the dough has pulled together, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface & knead until smooth & elastic, about 8 min.3. Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough in the bowl & turn to coat with oil. Cover with a damp cloth & let rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 1 hr. Deflate dough & let rise until doubled again, about 45 min.4. Deflate the dough & turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 2 equal pieces & form into loaves. Place the loaves into 2 lightly greased 9x5-in. loaf pans. Cover the loaves with a damp cloth & let rise until doubled in volume, about 40 min. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).5. Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for about 35 min, or until the top is golden brown & the bottom of the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
