Here is how you make Ferber's, Not my Mom's, Baked Ziti:

Makes 2 ServingsPreheat oven to 375 degrees.Cook pasta according to package directions, drain.I use two 6 inch Pyrex casserole dishes when I make this recipe. One for me and one for my wife.Mix ricotta cheese and 1/2 egg together.Mix 2 oz pasta, 1/2 cup of sauce, 1/4 cup mozzarella, and 1/4 cup ricotta together in a mixing bowl. Leave a little mozzarella cheese to put on top. Spray bottom of casserole dish with cooking spray for an easier clean-up.Pour 1/4 cup sauce in bottom of casserole dish. Spread ziti mixture into the casserole dish. Top with the rest of the sauce and the remaining mozzarella cheese.Repeat for the other serving.Cover with aluminum foil.Bake covered for 20 minutes until hot and bubbly. Remove foil and cook for about 10 more minutes to brown cheese on top.
