Cinnamon and nutmeg(optional)
Chia Seeds or Flax Seeds (optional)

*Note - you can also use 1 c. oat flour and 3/4 c. spelt flour for a more traditional bread texture.

Here is how you make Wholesome Banana Bread:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a small bowl, combine the spelt flour, oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chia seeds. Stir to combine.In a medium bowl add bananas, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and sweetener if using. Use a whisk to mash the bananas and combine all the ingredients well.Pour the dry ingredients into the wet. Stir just until combined and there are no dry pockets of flour.Pour into a loaf pan sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely.Serving Size:?12 slices
