2 T. chili powder
1 T. chipolte powder (optional)
1 T. garlic powder
2 T. honey
1 t. kosher salt
2 medium yams

Here is how you make BBQ Yams:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.In small mixing bowl, combine tomato paste, chili powder, chipolte powder, garlic, honey & salt.Whisk well or blend. Transfer to saucepan & heat on low, stirring constantly for 4-5 minutes until mixture starts to boil & color appears darker.Remove from heat & set aside.Rinse yams well, but leave skin on. Cut the yams lengthwise in half, then cut each section into 1/2" pieces.In medium mixing bowl, toss yams & BBQ sauce until yams are coated.Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange yams on top of sheet.
