How Do I Make Cajun Greenbeans?

Here is how you make Cajun Greenbeans:

Heat large pot of water until it is at a rolling boil. Meanwhile, trim and wash green beans. Put greenbeans into boiling water and cover. Boil for 8 minutes. While it is boiling prepare a bowl of ice water. Drain greenbeans and immediately pour into ice water. Heat oil in large frying pan. Add onions and garlic. Saute over med flame until the onions are golden brown. Add sugar and continue to saute over low flame for about five minutes. Add the rest of the seasoning.
